Perfect summer sipper, dry but not too much, just perfect for sweetness, mildly fruity. A step sweeter than French rose's, would definitely buy again — 3 years ago
Popped and poured; no formal notes. This is a step up in complexity with a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. The Syrah plays a heavy role and sets the tone for color and aromatics which is dark purple and olive and black pepper respectively. The fruit is more mixed brambles with some licorice and baking spices. This is made with the estates’ younger vines and it certainly has a youthful energy about it. — a year ago
#sauternes so sweet and balanced. Third of three bottles for my wife’s 40th birthday. We saved the best for last, as it turns out. Honeyed layers as this gently warms in a Burgundy bowl - caramel, marzipan, toasted almonds, some petrol, apricot jam. Tastes exactly how it smells with the acidity taking a step back from the honey sweetness swirling around a luscious oily mouthfeel. Touch of orange pith bitterness on the finish - lovely wine. Indeed it pairs well with Indian food but the force of this wine could have easily matched even spicier dishes. Beautiful wine and what’s amazing is it seemed this wine could easily go another 20 years. Good Sauternes is ever youthful. — 3 years ago
100% Chardonnay from the Languedoc region of France with original artwork by Oscar Lett, a UK-French artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Pétillant Natural (Pét-Nat) is a French term meaning “naturally sparkling”. This style of sparkling wine made with the “ancestral” method, which is the oldest version of sparkling winemaking. Funky aromas of ripe fruits and biscuit notes. Slightly off-dry palate has flavors of apple and pear with citrus floral notes. Medium finish, lively bubbles ending with tart fruit and yeasty notes. — 2 years ago
Beautiful full deep medium gold… surprising for such a young white wine. Enticing bright aroma of spring flowers and juicy dripping ripe orchard fruit. Every once in a while you run into a wine that just knocks you back a step.. this is such a wine. Rich, ripe, round, weighted, serious, lip-smacking good, complex, alive, smile-inducing, with a finish that makes you want to pour a glass for everyone you know. We consumed this wine with extremely well-made takeout Indian… Tikka Chicken, warm spicy Chana, and downright hot Lamb Vindaloo… this elixir stood up to the hodge-lodge and made it better. I need to buy this wine by the case. — 3 years ago
I loved this one, step mom knows how to pick them. Bold, smooth, bold refectory after notes. Outstanding! — 4 years ago
