Totally different animal than the 2009, which is fully mature, medium-dark color, still quite fresh and lively, depth, balance, medium-long finish, very fine aged Morton with 3-5 years of life left, for sure. — 6 years ago

Dark & broody with dark berry fruit (blackberry, mulberry) with some earthy notes and a healthy dose of graphite. Very Gamay, Morton, Brouilly style.
On the palate this has a a firm tannic frame, yet with juicy tannins and good dark plum & mulberry fruit. Nice acidity freshness and a mineral, fresh note.
Needs at least 2h decanting but then is so drinkable. A lovely wine! — 4 years ago

A very pretty Morton, shimmering and pure. Lovely acidity, plush in the middle with unbaked strawberry-rhubarb character. Finish is long with iron and other mineral notes. Ready for action.
