Good paired with hearty meal or a nice stand alone drink. Full flavor with smooth dry finish. — 6 days ago
Lots of dark fruit. Not too lean, good structure. A little grippy. Finishes really nicely. A nice early fall wine. — a day ago
This 5 year old Super Tuscan has a great nose.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate and nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Showing black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, spices, tobacco, chocolates, black tea, peppercorn and dark coffee.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
Needs an hour to open up, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
A very tasty blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

WNH NY, 2021.
The morning after the sausage-making the night before. The sausages were great during consumption (so-to-speak), but when you wake up, you see how the sausages were made!
Personally, I’ve never had a bad bottle of Ridge, and this example followed that pattern. Tilts much more towards a Bdx in terms of its style and personality. Black plums, currants and a hint of soft tobacco present on the nose and palate. Medium weight, with moderate tannins, but brighter acidity than I expected. Out of a magnum, this needs more time, but presented beautifully tonight.
A great gift from @Shay A’s cellar - thanks bud! — 17 days ago
