Opened this to celebrate my mom's birthday. Had high hopes for this Pommard (also a premier cru) but it wasn't amazing. Have had better village wine from Burgundy. Well well well......I am not a typical Rutherford Cab kind of guy - but I have to say I likey. Delicious fruit on the front and keeps it well rounded and plump. The bouquet is just a hint....like that attractive person steps on the elevator and smells good but you can't put your finger on the smell. Finish makes you want more and more - pairs well with my mom's lasagna. I like this wine - didn't think I would....... — 10 years ago
