Only had a taste but the reputation is undeniable. Giving and polished with no hard edges. Definitely robbing the cradle as the wine is dormant right now. I always confuse which wines from this region contain Sangiovese and this one does not. Wears the 14.5% abv. beautifully. Will enthrall with time but patience is suggested. — 8 hours ago

Robbing the cradle I know, yet have to taste when I grab a trinity.

Smells like roasted animal fat (as a Pescatarian, the same qualities are very similar) and old socks.

Tastes of olive oil (Animal fat) Herbs de Provence, leather, Tabac.
This finishes with medium tannin/acid mouthfeel.
This is a nice Cab Franc. South America shines!

Robbing the cradle. 15% abv. and it’s not shy about it. 80% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc. Needs 3+ hours of air if drinking now. Powerful, spicy, earthy nose. Tannin is wonderfully approachable. This wine is gonna slap in 2030. — 2 years ago
