Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits and baking spice. The palate shows sweet cherry & raspberry flavors with earthy tones, oak & cinnamon, overly acidic. Full-bodied, finr tannins, medium finish ending with overly spicy character. Tasting Sample.

Marginally OK but quite drinkable. Pretty smooth, off balance a bit (a flavor that stands out too much). Lighter than the better Pinots, somewhat less fruit flavor than most Willamette Valley Pinots. Don’t get all that “ruby aroma” earthy description but has a somewhat strange, unidentified aftertaste which some call “finish”. Probably not buy again.

Dark black fruits and a hint of spice on the nose, silky smooth palate, medium body, light acid. More spicy than fruity but definite raspberry and blackberry in there. Molly's notes: black raspberry, black plum, earthy. A very drinkable pinot alone or with food. Yum!
