Based on the label, the fruits for the ‘18 is not from Napa but Sierra Foothills, an AVA that I’m not familiar with. And I’m quite impressed.
A Southern Rhone blend that really highlights the bright berry fruits and the elegance of Grenache. Medium body with silky palate. It’s a great contrast to the big bold GSM blends often associated with other California AVAs.

18’ Miner Rosella’s Pinot . Color resembles a ruby/purple. Nose fresh picked strawberries, cranberry, brown sugar mist. Opened it over a week ago and threw the cork on it. Still a full -bodied beast of a Pinot. Strong cherry, red berry flavors to it, sassafras, slightly non-expressive finish. Can’t miss if you’re patient for another year or two. One of if not the best thing I’ve enjoyed from Miner. Cheers! Wait another 2/3 years / decanting for 2 hours +. — 4 years ago
Pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t sure what to expect as this came in the mystery case but drank like a balanced earthy Pinot. Would try this again depending on price. — 6 years ago
Nice Chenin Blanc but nothing to have it stand out — 6 years ago
Pleasant surprise for this one. It was at the back of the cellar and wasn’t expecting much. It is just as good as high end Rosso di Montalcino that Ive had in the past. Well made and has all the classic aged Sangiovese notes with some red fruit still at the front! — 9 hours ago
The closest wine to mead, strong smell with large notes of honey — 9 months ago
A gorgeous Rhône-style white. Wish I had more. — a year ago
Really lovely with fresh fish during an afternoon meal. Crisp, acidic, good tropical fruit. — 5 years ago
Very good! Really enjoyed this. Good value. You can taste similarities to the stagecoach Merlot. Earthy and some cherry but not overwhelming. Would definitely get again — 6 years ago

The bottle is heavy!
Distinctively Napa with Bordeaux sensibility. Dark cherry, cassis, blackcurrant, cedar, and a touch of tobacco unfold on the nose. The palate is beautifully structured palate with polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and concentrated dark fruit. Composed and well balanced with long candied finish.
The winery is the first customer of the Stagecoach vineyard and The Oracle used grapes from the vineyard exclusively until the 2015 vintage. — 3 days ago
