Full bodied. Fragrant. Filled with dark fruit, milk tea, mocha, potpourri, orange peel, tranberry. Build for a long life but enjoyable today with some air. — a year ago

"Jammy with milk chocolate, boysenberry and mocha flavors and a supple mouth feel". Wonderful Lodi Zin — 8 months ago
2018 vintage. Great sprawling, yet soft, nose. Medium-bodied. Full of PL/Graves cocoa powder/milk chocolate texture love. Needs 3-5 years to find its way forward. Supple and silky finish indicates the right path has been chosen. Tannins? What tannins? — 2 years ago
2015 Vintage... Already medium garnet in color. Cherry, milk chocolate, vanilla, mulch nose. Medium+ acidity, Nutty cherry initial palate, not a lot more unfortunately. Medium+ bodied. High alcohol (14.5 ABV). Of course this will improve, but unsure as to how much.

Besides having a great, cool label - Herman Story wines are so spectacular. This is not your standard “red blend” & the Tempranillo/Petit Verdot give a great complexity. Easily paired w/ a huge range of food. — 3 years ago

Lovely red and black fruits in this Barossa Shiraz, nice depth and complexity, medium-long finish, just a touch of heat in the finish, very good. — 3 months ago
