Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2014

Creamy, ripe orchard fruit flavor - yellow apple and buttered pear. Easy to drink - I can certainly understand the upfront appeal. — a month ago

Napa Valley Merlot 2014

A truly surprising, rich and rounded experience. Cedar on the nose with an approach the velvety-but-well underpinned with tannins that are pronounced but born naturally into the rhythm of the wine. There’s an unusual rhythm here that leads to a memorable, cherry-smoked finish. — 5 days ago

Napa Valley Chardonnay 2014

Founded in 1976, Duckhorn has been crafting varietals from the Napa Valley for over 30 years. Fresh fruit aromas with citrus and honey scents. On the palate peach, apple and lemon zest flavors with sweet vanilla and toasty notes. Savory, well balanced on lingering finish, great mouthfeel ending with mineral tones. — 5 days ago

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Drinking young again- decanted an hour or do. Much more structure than the pahlmeyer merlot we had. Solid tannins but very approachable. Classic napa valley cab with black currant, oak and a tough of graphite. — 9 days ago

Bought a case of these at release price for the sole purpose of flipping since some folks are willing to pony up for Spectators #1 of the year. But curiosity got the better of me. Had to see what a # 1 $95.00 wine taste like, you have to be kidding me😳😳, # 1 ?!!
I thought Parkers 96 for Caymus 40th was ridiculous, this takes the cake, totally lame wine

Yikes@Paul Treadway Huntington Beacher that is really harsh. But it is your palate and your cash.

Okay day two is definitely better for this bottle, but still can’t see $100.00 & # 1 wine
Now a 91 pointer, big woop

@Paul Treadway Huntington Beacher it’s posts with these comments that make me love Delectable. I hadn’t purchased this WS#1 but was curious. My visit to Duckhorn tasting room 2 years ago was a disappointment, but I blamed it on the crowd and my mood. I was going to search out this current popularity contest winner, but will let it go. Thanks to all.
