Pop and 1 hr slow ox before tasting. On the nose: denser and more tightly wound than the 17, but still darn good: soft earth, a suggestion of coffee toast, black raspberry, soft spiced plum. On the palate: fantastic acidity, blackberry, strawberry leaf, soft, but very bright coffee notes, and finely grained tannin on the finish. This is a village wine, but it definitely seems structured to improve with some short term aging. Yum. — 3 years ago

A decent aged burgundy halfy @ £30 that’s pretty good for the money 89-91 but rounded up on value & hey it’s nearly Christmas Ho Ho Ho

👄 Med body of red fruits & blackberry w/ a dry oaky touch & hints of black tea
