Wow, was not expecting much from an inexpensive Bulgarian rose, but this wine delivers. Reticent nose, but the palate bursts with dried strawberries and a wide swath of slightly grainy texture (from skin contact?) that really extends the finish. Imported by East West in Cambridge, MA. Bulgarian wine amarone style. Dark purple (though dark out) dark fruit with hint of plum prune and cinnamon. Same on mouth with tannins that need some time. Long. Very good. May be my first Bulgarian wine. Definitely first with grape drying. — 7 months ago
