Smooth and rich, with intense fruit and well-balanced acidity and sweetness. Still some noticeable tannin. Should be opened an hour early to breathe. Eaten with pot roast. Very enjoyable. — 3 months ago

👃 Deep aromas of confites dates, Agent prunes, toffee and torrefied black coffee

The exact wine not in Delectable database but very close. This was the 6th and final wine in the matching wine/degustation. 100% Grenache grown on Black Schist. Another unusual wine and producer you don’t often see - a Vin Doux Naturel from Roussillon - sweet ripe fruit. This wine capped off a memorable degustation (the food was amazing) with matching wines. I had not visited Restaurant Dan Arnold before but can thoroughly recommend it. — 3 months ago
En mag. No notes. This is probably the last time we drink this as my uncle might eventually pull out of the project. We had it along a chapon (eunuch chicken, for lack of a better way to describe it) and it went super well. Potatoe pumpkin purée, chestnuts, prunes, apple purée... This was a great Christmas lunch and a great wine to complement it. The wine is grenache forward with licorice and black fruits. Very good maury sec. — 4 months ago
