A lovely blend from Priorat of around 50/50 Garnacha and Carinena, sometimes with a little Merlot included in some years. A red and black fruited palate with ripe blackcurrant. Opulent. I have a previous Delectable note for this wine - 77? Weeks ago. Reinforces my love of Priorat and Garnacha in particular. From the producer’s oldest vines - approximately 110 years. The 14.5% Alcohol does not show at all. — 4 months ago
Thanksgiving week so time to open this PDX baby up, made in Portland but grapes grown in Columbia Valley (they are an urban winery, fun place to visit). Purple, slightly cloudy, medium pigment extraction. Blackberries, blueberries and black currants in the nose. Soft, moderate alcohol, fruit with length and mild seed tannins in the finish and aftertaste. Graphite as well. I love this stuff in the autumn; get some now. Nothing fancy, just tasty, rustic and evocative — 18 hours ago

Mostly Grenache, this blend also brings Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan to the glass. Light and bright red fruits on the nose open gracefully onto the palate. Although from Provence, the Les Beaux de Provence comes across more like a Cote du Rhone that’s easy to talk to. It’s a graceful & tasteful little find, south of $20. — 2 months ago
Excellent mature balanced Cab Franc without that peppery greenness coming on. Long finish. — 3 months ago

Been a while since I have had these wines and wow is this insanely great. Nose is a bit quiet but there’s some cassis and kirsch and slight herbal edge that’s so appealing. Smokey and very complex. But the palate is OMG level. Juicy and so sleek. Sweet fruit, unreal velvety tannin and so fresh. Structure to burn and such freshness and a huge mineral finish. Out of this world. Can’t wait till it opens up. Masterful. Unreal complexity and elegance. This could go to 9.7. — 14 days ago
