My dad has saved this bottle for about 40 years, and decided to open to celebrate this year’s Father’s Day.
Beautiful amber color. Black pepper, blackcurrant, caramel, fig, honey, and hint of worn leather. Still very intense on the palate but sure footed and as smooth as cashmere. Complex and graceful. Really shows no sign of aging. This could go another 40 years. Paired with a wide range of Michelin 2-star Cantonese cuisine. Amazing experience.

This bottling is based on the same grapes as the winery's estate bottlings, and the result is a generous, rich wine, with a lot of baking spice and leather aromas.
