Beautiful dark & mid red fruits with floral heaven. Both this wines are a yin & yang heaven with this dish.
Stupendous flavors built into this dish by Chef Hedy. Richness with great seasoning.
If you live in & around the greater Bay Area, you owe to yourself to attend one of the dinners Hedy holds 4-5 times a year. Not only is the food amongst the very best we had, the people that attend and environment are as equally good. Find Hedy @Plate&Bottle — 9 days ago
Light to drink, easy with Mexican tapas — 7 days ago
After the initial rush of ripe plum, black currant, blueberry, and menthol, the nose slowly reveal its layered and complex side with cured meat (or maybe bacon fat), dark chocolate, black tea, violet, and hint of soy source. On the palate it was dense and velvety, carrying the lightly syrupy sweetness to a long intense spicy finish.

— 21 days ago

Wow 🤯 A field blend made up of 13 varieties from the fouteur de merde / magician, Deiss. Muscat and Gerwurztraminer dominate aromatically, but don’t be fooled—the wine is dry and balanced with just a hint of fruit, oh so many layers and a long finish laced with something exotic (ginger maybe?) So good.
Also, props for the ballsy but brilliant choice of comic sans or some other horrifically inappropriate font on the back label. Clearly no marketers were involved in the production of this wine.
