Was recommended by a cave i’m Marais specializing in bio wine. Probably the best bio wine I’ve ever had. A pleasant earthiness. AOC Touraine — 8 years ago

So light and fresh! Apples and Pears, but juiced, not baked like in a Krug for example. Dashing Paris drop in le Marais! — 11 years ago

Beautiful fragrance of honey with tastes of varied stone fruits...peach, fig all layered with a hint of vanilla. The perfect sitting by the fire drink. — 12 years ago
Final meal in Paris. I had read about Anthony Bourdain liking this place because of its simplicity and perfectly cooked meat. (Apparently one of his favorites in Paris). Great meal to close our week in Paris, especially if you like fire grilled meat as much as we do.
The Diane de Belgrade was a textbook Bordeaux. I liked it even more after a bit of time in the glass. This wine is also a reminder that even simple bottles can be amazing. @Robert et Louise in Le Marais. — 4 years ago

Cafe des Musees in Marais, maybe €40? — 8 years ago
Bought this lovely Champagne at a wine shop in the Marais near Village St. Paul in Paris. Asking for a good pairing with Munster, it works very well with the strong cheese. The yeasty flavours of both cheese and champagne are a good match for each other. — 8 years ago
One word describes this wine: satisfying. It paired so well with my Entrecôte and his rump steak that we walked out feeling fine and not stuffed. Good acidity and tannins to stand up to the meat-a-palooza we consumed. Right and stewed fruit and a fantastically long finish. PS Robert et Louise is a must if you find yourself in Le Marais. — 10 years ago

Classic Pouilly. What a time to be in Paris! Sitting on the balcony of my AirBNB enjoying the sounds of the Marais. Today restaurant, cafés and museum restrictions begin to ease. That alone is making this wine taste good. I’ll add tasting notes tomorrow, when my palate isn’t clouded by the shear weight of the moment. — 5 years ago
Lightly sparkly. Very refreshing. Drink very cold. Great taste of citrus (lemon, grapefruit) and green apple. A perfect Riesling like wine. Perfect fruity balance which makes the wine very easy to drink (danger). Great for summer. Found in a rarewine store in le marais Paris. Very hard to find. If you can get your hands on this, don't hesitate — 8 years ago

Brut nature. aromas are full of citrus and spice, with layers of crisp green apple and white flowers. The mouthfeel offers a piercing purity, with lemon, chalk, and ginger gracing a long-lasting finish — 2 years ago
