A well made version of vermentino.

Nose is aromatic lemon extract. Very fresh and clean. Very Italian. Some richness as it opens.

Palate is nicely mineral and balanced. Light gods lemon soda. Very sprightly on the palate. A hint of lemon pith. Richer as it opens. Great acidic balance.

Something in new wants to try this in 7 years for some reason.

Would be awesome with crudo.

It’s one of those wines that is an incredibly great version of what it’s supposed to be.

I bought this because I love the blend, 65% Montepulciano 35% Sangiovese, and had to try it. It’s very smoky/earthy at first which I’m not a big fan of but I like it so much better tonight.
