Les Eclats De Branas

Château Branas Grand-Poujeaux

Moulis en Médoc Merlot Blend 2016

2016 vintage. Smoky nose at first, developing well with air. More power and depth compared to the floral and fresh Mauvesin Barton tasted alongside. — 2 months ago

Château Branas Grand-Poujeaux

Marpaout Merlot 2022

Marpaout 2022. First vintage of a 100 % Merlot of Château Branas Grand Poujeaux. An absolutely spectacular wine from a single plot. Aged in 100% new oak and additionally in amphora. Incredible complexity, wonderful elegance, and phenomenal length. The high alcohol (15%) goes totally unnoticed. Retail price 1500 euro. Only 900 bottles produced. — 2 months ago

Eclats Brut Damery Champagne Blend

Excellent value nonvintage blend. Everything you want - some yeast, some nice apple-y sour fruit, some great acid and completeness. Bubbles slightly pronounced. Nice. — 4 years ago

Château Branas Grand-Poujeaux

Les Eclats Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

2015 vintage. This estate was bought in 2002 by Belgian Justin Onclin and he turned Branas Grand Poujeaux into the finest wine of the Moulis appellation in my humble opinion. Eclats is the second wine and it is a very attractive medium-bodied Moulis that delivers amazing value for money. Perfect to drink now, but no signs of fatigue. Abv. 13,5%. — 3 years ago

C. de Réserve Brut 1er Cru Champagne Blend

Green Apple, lots of citrus acidity, fresh zesty fruits and more minerals than the Caillez Lemaire Eclats tasted alongside. Some rubber band and seashells. Fresher, but a touch unresolved by comparison. On the whole a real favorite and a great value. — 5 years ago
