Weissbrau Dunkel 2021
Lovely smooth dark (dunkel) beer from the excellent Erdinger brewery. Mild flavour from dark malted wheat and barley that has subtle chocolate and plum notes with a hint of sweetness with a mild but lingering mouthful. Great on draft, but bottled as was mine was, remains a treat. — 3 years ago

The Rare Barrel Forces Unseen Golden Sour Beer 2014
I remember having various vintages of this on draft at the brewery and always thinking it is one of their best beers. Now having a 6 year old bottle conditioned version, it is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Classic rare barrel bret/vinegar flavor, tons of peach, guava, then pineapple on the finish. I also get tart limes but also tart cherries or cherry pits. If they have any of this left for the covid sale you should pick it up. — 4 years ago

A very nice Mild. Smooth, dark brown with malt and hints of caramel.
The joy of this beer, aside from it being in the footsteps of the traditional mild, is that this recipe and the original brews were all done by the brewer's apprentice.
Foundry Mild was so popular in the Brewery Tap that it has entered full-time production being available in draft and bottles.
