Lovely if far too young. Beautiful saline note running through red fruit of great length. Refreshing match for lapin chasseur. — 4 years ago
2010 vintage.
Dried, dark Lapin cherries. Blueberries and red fruit with earthiness but not overpowering.
Tannins and acidity have melded beautifully.
Still crisp on the finish.
This Pinot Noir has aged well after 14 years. — 2 months ago
This fell somewhere between an old Burgundy and an even older new world Syrah (made me think of a old Alban Edna). Stinky but alluring nose, so much going on I couldn’t really capture it all. My head was spinning a bit (last wine of night but it was exceptional, new for me).
Mon Lapin (and Vanya if she’s there…) essential for any wino/foodie visit to Montreal! — a year ago
2007 vintage.
Dried Bing and Lapin cherries on the nose with hints of fig.
Plums, dark cherries, tobacco, sandalwood and dried roses.
Smooth well developed tannins combining well with persistent, yet still mouth watering acidity.
Such a gentle, smooth and refined finish.
It hurts me to say this is my last bottle. — 3 months ago
Bu avec Gab pourapero et avec Simon au mon lapin. Acidité faible. Peu de tanin. Arome miel, formage, Fruit rouge, bois. Court en bouche. Belle complexité — 3 years ago
We've had this cellared for 3+ years and damn was it worth the wait! Incredibly balanced fruit- cherries, plums, dried fruit, spices, sugar, very light tannins. Goes amazingly with wild Lapin au Vin. — 5 years ago
薄めの黄金色。上品な烏龍茶の様な香り。綺麗な酸と穏やかなフルーツだが、余韻はとても長い@Lapin 3,672 incl tax — 6 years ago

The 2002 pours a bright yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing and basically a meatball right down the middle of the plate. Powerful notes of ripe pineapple, some ripe stone fruit, lemon curd, marzipan, butter, minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and has a great acid and mineral zip that helps cut through the density. This is a Chardonnay that so many producers desperately want to make but there are so few that can execute with this level of precision. Of the three wines in this flight it was sort of overshadowed early by the Sauzet and the Leroy Aligote…but that changed when the food came. Paired with the roulade du lapin, this was without equal. Drink now through 2032. — 9 days ago
