Vol in de mond voor een Sauvignon Blanc na opening. Mineraalachtige en lange afdronk. — a year ago
— 3 years ago
Very nice Nebbiolo Lange. Age came through, still structured and nuanced. Excellent with pork chop au poivre — 5 years ago
Earthy silk. Beautiful reddish color with a tinge of brown. Subtle nose, light body and low acidity. Very soft tannins. — 7 years ago
Waxed leather, dusty brick, slow cooked meat, wood smoke. Never had a wine from this area before and thoroughly enjoyed it, very earthy very visceral wine. Could if he’s a little more structured, but all things considered I’m not enough in an expert to say this that or whatever. Really delicious and went very well with giant pasta shells, high fat butter, and venison meatballs. No complaints. — 5 months ago
Ruby in color with a wide cloudy brick rim, and medium intensity.
Beautiful nose of red and black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, herbs and black tea.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, black currants, cooked plums, light oak, spices, chocolates, earth, herbs and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

Elegant one Airelio Settino Lange Nebbiolo 19 @1400/G, Gdrp, 241016 — 2 years ago
La Côte de lAnge is not a top Ch. Neuf de P label. But it is a quality label of of the second tier that represents a good quality to price ratio. One would think that 2010 would be a high point, and maybe it is. But even 2010 is not a superior effort. Very intense, yet undefined, purple fruit and lots of menthol. It’s a pleasant and even intense drink. Nothing wrong. But not the highest expression of the terroir. — 5 years ago
