Very good Rioja reserva! Sour red cherry berry, and oaky smoky 🍒😚💨 Had it with roasted garlic chicken thighs, arugula, and smashed potatoes with lemon, chives and sour cream. Pairing was a little off - it was too bold and flavorful for the dish, but certainly not bad!

The 2nd most flavorful sake I’ve had in my life. The first was in Kyoto so... Oloroso, jamón on the nose, rich viscous mouthfeel with acid balance to make it food friendly and a loooong finish to keep you pondering and wanting more. Winner. — 4 years ago

Tastes insanely delicious with 5J jamón ibérico and 12 month old Manchego. The wine is enhancing the flavor of the food and the food is raising the flavor of wine. This wine was clearly created to be consumed with these foods. I’m having a religious experience. — 4 years ago
