Blend of 65% Zinfandel, 26% Petite Sirah, 5% Syrah & 4% Alicante Bouschet. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, oak, spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with pepper, cacao, spice and smoky oak. Well balanced, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, smoke and spice. Will age. — 13 days ago
My first wine from this very small producer. Delicious. — 14 days ago
I’m getting a bit of cork on this one but hoping it blows off. Needs more air but it’s going to be a classic Turley. It’s good with more air but that’s also making the corked aspect more prevalent. Bummer. Can look past it but it’s work. Somewhat annoying since I’ve been looking forward to this for a while. Hoping the other sings. — 20 days ago
Great wine for the price, but could use a few more years — 8 hours ago
Nice for a steak dinner at a restaurant for a reasonable price. Pop and pour Zinfandel blend. Deep color, fruit and spice aroma. Palate is heavily red Zinfandel with dark berries, plum, and spice - pepper with a hint of nutmeg and vanilla. Balanced tannins and acidity. Short but pleasant finish. — 3 days ago

Ripe, polished, round, suave, definitely not an old school Petite Sirah but a super modern style, undeniably VERY tasty, but struggling a bit with reconciling the flavor and particular the structural style with 1970s/1980s Petite Sirah, I’m confused?!?! — a month ago

Very good, but not the best ‘97 Chapelle bottle I’ve had. — 7 days ago
