Decanted for 3 hours before returning to the bottle prior to dinner. The 2008 pours a deep garnet color a with near opaque; medium+ with moderate staining and some signs of fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of dark plums, purple flowers, some green bell pepper, tobacco, graphite, leather, mint, and soft baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannins that are mostly integrated and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A classy, perfectly matured Pomerol that was a lovely pairing with a Tomahawk ribeye. Drink now through 2033. Thanks Andy! — 3 months ago
Super smooth. Light and refreshing. Will try a sangria with this. — a month ago
2022 vintage. Pedesclaux becomes better and better, and that is also reflected in the second wine. Fleur de Pedesclaux is usually dominated by Merlot, but this 2022 is 49% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. Therefore, it shows a more typical Pauillac character than before, with black fruit (cassis, blackberries), some smokiness, a powerful structure, and serious length. Abv. 14%. Even better the next day. Should age beautifully. — a month ago
What a fantastic representation of the Roght Bank! Deep garnet in color with vibrant fruit on the nose and palette. Highly structured but with well aged and softened tannins to support notes of leather, oak, and the typical sous bois of Bordeaux. Still much life left in this bottle - surprising for this vintage. — 3 months ago

Picked up a 2012 at Wine House for $60 on 12/21/2024
One of the best wines I’ve tasted all year especially in the sub $100 price range
Smells like fertilizer and funk (in a good way) but tastes like blackberries and cherries with hints of soil — a day ago
