Inky in color with a short brick rim.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.
Showing black currants, cooked plums, cedar, tobacco leaf, herbs, spices, vegetables, black tea, tar, light earth and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 15 year old Washington Syrah is drinking very nicely now. In your face kind of wine. Bold, extracted and definitely delicious.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime.

Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

Medium to light body. Spicy, cherry, light tannins to start. As it opens, spiciness increases and raspberry emerges. — a month ago
Enjoyed this one with a juicy ribeye. Mellow nose. Surprising given the color concentration. Vanilla. Oak. Medium finish. Medium tannins. — 5 months ago

Opens meaty and smoky, but with Garnacha ripe red fruit character quickly emerging. Rustic and a bit coarse in a way that might improve with age, but already has an intriguing ethereal quality lurking. — 8 days ago
