The 2022 Pinot Noir opens with a mentholated freshness, mixing wild berries and sage. It’s juicy and round, with vividly ripe red and blue fruits swirling throughout. The 2022 leaves youthful tension with the mouth watering for more as hints of licorice fade. $16.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2024) — 3 months ago
The “King of Chardonnay” Mike Grgich farms w/o pesticides and certified organic. Aged 10 months, no MLF. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone & citrus fruits. On the palate flavors of apple, pear & lemon citrus flavors, with honeysuckle, vanilla & toasty oak notes. Nice balance with acidity on long finish with a toasty mineral ending. Not your typical CA Chard, very nice! Consistent. — a month ago
Solid effort from a classic, even tempered vintage…this likely spent approx 8 mon in barrel, and the downward slope is evident of less tannic input. Nevertheless, and a nice stewed red fruit core is delish as a sipper or with lighter proteins. Acids have waned a bit to far for serious food cleanup. Our house made Thai coconut beef curry soup was even a little too much, but it still was delicious to have in between long bites and afterwords with Keylime pie. This is my aging/cellar project… Learn how vintages and terroir match with winemaking and longevity. Lesson learned here… as the 2010 is the benchmark of a plus Merlot from the Monticello AVA. The 2010 is twice the wine that this is… Emphasizing the quality of the vintage vis-à-vis 2012 — 2 years ago
Stunning example of how to handle Viognier in Virginia. Matthieu! Par excellence - the mouth… The balance between oak and acid was glorious! at just four years from vintage, amazing quality, and so beautiful with the food. — 3 months ago
Wow! Can’t believe these were distributed. July 2023 release. So much raspberry. So good with some raspberry creamsicle and so much tart flavor. It’s insane. Balanced with a bit of lemon and hay but raspberry lambic all day. Tasted next to a 2020 rose de gambrinus. This was better by two different tasters. — 5 months ago
Bought in Oregon - dry - loved it - drinking with Patty on trip out West in Washington. Taste of Pear and apple. Smooth. — 2 years ago
Blackberry bramble, baked black cherry and plum, hints of maraschino, mint and menthol, bell pepper and geranium, cedar, tobacco, and bakers vanilla with whiffs of aged leather jacket on the nose. Blackberry, cherry, juicy raspberry, vanilla extract and weak black tea on the palate with a medium heavy body but a medium short finish. Overall a great wine for pumpkin pie brunch on Christmas morning (no it’s not too early). Merry Christmas! — 2 years ago

Super quaffable #pinotgris - apple, white peach aromas, weighty palate with lots of acidity, green apple, peach, goes down too easy. Great QPR for under $8 #costcowines — 6 days ago
