2012. 9.5. Outstanding: a mouthful of ripe red and blue fruits, tar, licorice and other earthy funk. So smooth and complex, evolves every hour. I slightly prefer the 2011 Ca del Merlo as the CdM is a bit longer and structured but both are classics. $79 at Plucky, Bottle King.
