Helder rood, hint van paars, prettige neus. Weinig tannines, iets zurig, deze trekken echter in de afdronk weg. Afdronk eerst ietsje bitter, maar niet te overheersend, overgaand in lange brede prettige afdronk, dan komen uiteindelijk de tannines heel voorzichtig tevoorschijn, maar verdwijnen ook weer.
