This wine was much better than the less dry version from the same vineyard. I got citrus notes with fruit, mainly apples. I am glad to have tried this wine in class as now I know to look for a much more dry white. It had a nice sensation in the mouth, and after the second sip I was really enjoying it. Shockingly smooth on the palette, flavors of dark cherry, with a lingering finish and defined texture. Paired well with NC Barbecue chicken and spicy potatoes.
