Delicious and very Saint-Joseph! Fragrant nose is redolent of crushed granite, savory notes that verge into iodine, and bloody dark little mountain berries. Lean and chiseled in the mouth, with clingy savory flavors and nice acidity. There’s a fair amount of tannin but it’s medium soft and well integrated. Great value, as always with this producer. — 10 months ago
Off dry. I swear this has a PBR resonance to it. — 19 days ago
Ethan champagne - April 2018 — 7 months ago
Cedric Bouchard makes some of the most singular, vinous and terroir expressive wines in Champagne which is even taken to the next level in his prized and ultra rare cuvée, La Bolorée. 2015 was a particularly great vintage for Bouchard and every cuvée I’ve tried has been fantastic. La Bolorée, 100% Pinot Blanc from 50+ year-old vines on limestone soils, is powerful, detailed and multidimensional showing layer upon layer of rich orchard fruit, white flowers and salty minerals. Just my 4th time having this bottling, but it is always a special drinking experience. We did not decant, but drank from Zalto Burgundy which somehow didn’t break on a boat 😅

Perfectly aged. Golden color with richly balanced flavors — 2 months ago
The description: Packed with red and black Fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, sour cherry), bright and lively in the mouth with a nice minerality coming through the long, fresh finish.
The opinion: Description accurate. Would I buy again “Yes”. Lighter side of what I typically buy but still very pleasant. — 6 months ago
В Бисиклете - сухенько на запах, на вкус фруктово-сдержанно, очень прилично. — 2 years ago
