Very light gold in color. You can tell this is a classic Finger Lakes nose. If I were having this blind I would say Riesling without a doubt. Not surprising as this Chard has massive Riesling characteristics as it comes from quite possibly the best Riesling maker in the US. Not bad at all but not a Chard in my mind. — 5 days ago
Good minerality, tastes like a Pinot Grigio to me. Moderate acidity, a touch bitter, well balanced. Aroma: Apple, grape, a touch of wood. — 10 days ago
Another bottle found in the back of the locker. Love diamond mountain and like this producer but one gets the feeling this was meant to drink now and not she. Fruit is still solid and tannins are gone but you are getting that eucalyptus flavor coming in and not much on the follow not complex by any stretch but who cares it tastes good. — 2 days ago
Very drinkable. A mix of fruit and spice. Enjoyed it with pasta and sausage. I’ll definitely buy this again. — 4 days ago
Founded by Judy Jordan in 1986 and celebrated its 30th harvest in 2017. A blend from 3 AVA’s as depicted on the label, a “big” offering from J. Juicy Raspberry and Strawberry flavors adding bits of cola and tea, nice mouthfeel. Graceful tannins, lingering, a little hot from 14.6 ABV, ending with earthy character. Overall very nice value. Cork was completely black throughout and you could push it right in if you tried. Orangey brick red, with very light edges. A bit dirty on the nose with ripe cherries, cigar box, smokey and leather. Very drinkable, low tannins (4.5/10) and light bodied. Tannins show through in the rear of the palate with balanced acidity. Flavors of cigar, sweet spices and cherries. Short plus to medium length finish.
Stunning for a 40 year old wine. — 12 days ago
Slight oxidation. All strawberries and cream on the palate. And mold. — 5 days ago
