DRY! Coiled and tense right now - wait 3 more years! Top Riesling top producer top vintage and Hans Jörg Rebholz’s best vineyard. The primary fruit when young is reduced. Smokey nose touch petrol. In the glass salty tangy peach stone mango verbena and faint hint of parsley. World class. — 7 years ago
@Delectable this is the Spätlese and this is just another great example of the craftsmanship of Jörg Thanisch. It’s a refined and precise wine, a wine that fills your mouth with great sweet fruits en you’re head with bucketloads of pleasure. The 7,5% of alcohol makes it quit easy to empty the bottle and run a marathon after it 🤣 this is every year again a no-brainer for my whole visiting Weingut Thanisch in Lieser💪 — a year ago
Alcohol vrije mousserende wijn, obv peer, erg smakelijk. — 2 years ago
Jörg is every year better in making his unfiltriert Spatburgunder, the 2016 is for me a great effort. And considering I don’t like Pinot Noir you can imagine how good this wine must be🤣 silky and perfumes of cherries with delicate chocolate. Soft and smooth pallet, this is an fantastic wine of a very good Winzer — 6 years ago
Schiller Berg rosé 2009, Carnuntum.
A mix of Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and PN, quite dark in colour with fresh wild strawberries and strawberry aromas. Slightly tannic, the way a pomegranate is. Great balance and brilliantly drinkable. Amazing for an almost 10y rosé! — 7 years ago
