In additional to the guava, gooseberry, and tropical fruit, there's so much more vegetale notes and specifically jalapeño than the Honig SB.
Especially savory when the wine gets warm.
A bit a RS with incredibly lifted acidity. Really delicious. — 7 years ago

Peach & apricot nose, dry & fresh. Reminds me a little of drinking Honig Sauvignon blanc at the beach in Sarasota 🏝 — 6 years ago
Red berry on the nose, notes of cranberry and spice, full mouthfeel, oaky, with a long finish. — 8 years ago
Vine Cliff Winery 2012 napa valley cabernet sauvignon. Overall impression: enters palate thick dissipates with a slight tart finish. I better eat some chocolate to enjoy this one. It is an excellent cab dont take me wrong. Lots of perfume on the nose. Big dark fruit on the beginning tapering off to a bland slightly tart and very dry finish. No spice. No chocolate. No earth. No substance in the middle or finish. A very shallow wine. For the same price, Honig blows it away! I do like it though. High end Restaurants could sell this for $18 a glass. Just not worth the price when wines like Castello de Amorosa and Honig are out there at the same price — 8 years ago

Wow! Deep purple in color. Aromas of smoke, black fruit and minerals. Loads of blackberry, black currant, plum fruit with a black licorice and herb finish.

I have to say, it was a marvelous wine. 40-60% of the fruit in this fume blanc comes from their To Kalon vineyard, and it definitely shows. Beautiful tension, ample acidity, great complexity, some pyrazine aroma (not as much as the Honig) and very French in style. This wine pays homage to Robert Mondavi standing up with the greats of France. I guessed southern Napa 2014, so not too far off there! — 8 years ago
Rodney Strong might be on the way back up. This is their Alexander’s Crown 2013, cabernet sauvignon . I picked it up for 60 bucks. Retail is usually 80. I would not pay that for it, but for 60 its not bad. Honig for 40 is better. Thwre is oak and spice and everything nice. It is dry and mouth watering for more!!! — 8 years ago
