Expressive aromatics of mangoes, ripe peaches & pineapple with the classical rose petals & a pinch of herbs. On the palate this is rich, yet dry & juicy w/o the oily flabbiness that often plagues Traminers. Impeccably balanced and carried the hefty 15% alc (!! but warm vintage) very well. Lacks the minerality of the best Traminers from Südtirol though.
Wouldn’t pair this with food but a glass or two is v. nice for contemplating. — 6 years ago

Haven't opened one for a long time. Perfect occasion with friends during lunch with bright salad, ricotta biscotti and cheese and olives.
