15' Margerum D SB. D is a blend of McGinley Vineyard "The Point" Sauvignon Blanc and Grassini Family Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc. I had the 2015 Grassini Reserve SB and enjoyed it.
A blending of neutral & new oak. Lime all day! Lemon peel, Nectarines. Moderate amount of acidity. Beautiful balance! Serve at cellar temperature! — 9 years ago
Elegant! We are loving the quality you can taste coming from Grassini wines. This Sauvignon Blanc is floral with a nice full bodied and round finish that lingers with flavor. — 10 years ago
Really aromatic: violet, blackberry, dark chocolate. Great detail and finesse. — 11 years ago
Maybe the best Sauvignon Blanc I’ve had outside of Loire. Santa Ynez valley, nice acidity as expected but layers of fruit, grass, minerals, beeswax. Excellent. — a year ago
2014 showing really nicely. Lovely. — 7 years ago
Hello that is refreshing - a bit tight cab nose of cassis, and a bit more acidity/salinity than I'm used to but very tasty. I would eat this with sweet KC-STYLE BBQ and a slaw. — 9 years ago
