I wasn’t expecting much from Happy Canyon, but when I popped the cork & took a whiff I had to look at what I opened again, I don’t know how this taste & smells like an aged Bordeaux. Is it Foxen or is it the Grassini vineyard?

15' Margerum D SB. D is a blend of McGinley Vineyard "The Point" Sauvignon Blanc and Grassini Family Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc. I had the 2015 Grassini Reserve SB and enjoyed it.

A blending of neutral & new oak. Lime all day! Lemon peel, Nectarines. Moderate amount of acidity. Beautiful balance! Serve at cellar temperature! — 7 years ago
