Expressive and complex nose with aromas of lemon zest, tangerine, pear, green apple, subtle notes of rubber. Nice, mellow reduction, a touch of green fruit. On the palate this has a bit of creaminess, but there’s racy acidity and a bit of Burgundian soapiness.

Fresh damson plums, black mulberry, Zwetschgenröster, and some fresh herbs & spices - sage, allspice.
On the palate this is light with lively, juicy acidity, a nice tannic grip, a fresh, mineral finish.
Has a inky, slightly wild side to it, but overall a very complete & elegant Blaufränkisch. And drinking so nicely right now! — 3 years ago
