Golden in the glass. Big and structured. Tons of fruit. Almost too much for me. Jasmine, lemon curd, pear on the back palate. Touch sweet. 360 cases made. 13.7%. Clearly this wine was made with care and determination. Let’s see what the future brings. Will put this away for 3-4 years. — 5 months ago
Pale golden white, excellent clarity. Pineapple and orchard fruit aromas. Flavors of pineapple, guava, litchi, lemon and pear finish. Pleasing skin astringency in finish and aftertaste. Some barrel character as well, presumably neutral wood. This wine is going fairly tropical but it’s a lovely pairing to my seafood and tofu yellow curry. Still a winner — 2 years ago
Yellow/golden in color.
Earthy nose with citrus, lemons, minerals, sea salt, yellow apples, spices, light earth, and light honey.
Medium-plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with citrus, apples, pears, light earth, light honey, sea salt, herbs, oak, white pepper and spices.
Long finish with lemons and light herbs.
This is a delicious white Rhône blend from Paso Robles. Elegant and rich. Fruit-forward and well-balanced.
Good right out of the bottle and gets more complex as it opens up (20 minutes) in the glass.
Drinking beautifully already, at only 2 years old, and will continue to age nicely over the next 5 to 7 years.
Complex and crisp. Spicy and interesting.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 33% Roussanne, 32% Grenache Blanc, 14% Picpoul Blanc, 8% Clairette Blanche, 8% Picardan and 5% Bourboulenc.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

This was the original wine that taught me what Chardonnay was capable of, and this one, with 8 years of aging still impressed. My friend Eric said it best, “it’s a schizophrenic wine”, the nose is wild and natural, super funky malo, with incredible tartness and yellow citrus, like an underripe pineapple and musty funk. The palate though on this slightly opaque, pale golden liquid is very different. Lemon curd, baked silky citrus explosion, with a woody, forest floor, and mineral like spine that rolls right down the middle, and ends with a surprisingly chalky and stony finish. Such a special site for wine, elevated by the measured hand of a veteran winemaker. @Chris Brockway — 9 months ago
Golden color, fine bubbles. On the nose pear, bread and butter. First sip tastes and smells like freshly baked bread, followed high acid, pear and peach. A little bit off dry. Delicious. — 5 months ago
Nice and balanced Chardonnay with golden apples, fat peels of lemon, some orange zest, cream, butter and very refined touch of vanilla. Nice acidity and not too heavy. — 6 months ago
Really buttery at a reasonable price point, but fruit forward over oak focused. Would be great with scallops — 4 years ago
