Structured and somewhat tannic still, still some primary fruit but I worry the tannins will outlast the fruit, impressive showing for the second wine of Laurel Glen, our good steaks are effectively cutting the tannins, very good Cal Cab!! — 11 days ago

@Ira Schwartz, I also had a 1986 Laurel Glen Cabernet next to the bottle above, will consume that soon! And, for @Tom Casagrande, this 1995 Counterpoint was 12.5% ABV!!

Shows a little of the bell pepper aromas that I often found in older Sonoma Cabs, but nicely balanced fruit that is still quite youthful, tannins have mostly receded, drinking quite well tonight, bravo Patrick for making this gem!! — 2 years ago
