Pennsylvania Grüner. That’s right, and a very good one at that! Well balanced with pure varietal character and age worthy over several years. — 7 months ago

A fortified wine [Tawny]. Wow, smooth, not overly sweet - absolutely delicious. — 2 months ago
Apologies for self made label but I secured a dozen btles via a direct offer for some unlabelled bottles.
However the product itself is excellent and very pleased with my purchase.
Halliday always rates each vintage of this wine between 95 and 97 points, at 9 years old the 2016 still has lots of time to develop further.

Shows a little of the bell pepper aromas that I often found in older Sonoma Cabs, but nicely balanced fruit that is still quite youthful, tannins have mostly receded, drinking quite well tonight, bravo Patrick for making this gem!! — 2 years ago
Sooo smooth, compare against the 2023. — 2 months ago
Dark Cherry. Nice bold red. Excellent value — 3 months ago
2023 must have been a warmer/riper vintage due to the fact that this wine seems quite tropical. Aromas and flavors of pineapple, mango, pears and lemon/lime. Noticeable touches of minerals and white pepper on the long finish. Very fruit forward and refreshing. Crisp acidity and well rounded texture. Not a typical expression of Gru V, but pretty enjoyable. — 8 months ago

2013 vintage. Captures more than a bit of that old-school, 80's-90's Laurel Glen magic and oomph. Firing right now and for the foreseeable future. Medium/medium-heavy body. 2.18.26. — a month ago
