I drank the 2010. A classy bottle which had matured beautifully. Not much on the nose but tasting cherries and black currants. A deep dryness. — 3 years ago
Delicious but also on the pricier side. Paired with lasagna. Darker fruits and raisins, jammy, robust, well-balanced. Would love to have again. — 2 years ago

Asolo is best known as one of only two DOCG areas for Prosecco but they make some interesting red wines there like this totally pleasant, easy to drink and enjoy lighter bodied wines. Medium minus tannin, medium plus acidity and lovely red fruit character - sour cherry, red cherry, wild strawberry, red plum, a touch of dried herbs, cassis, violet, black cherry and more. Rewarding blend of merlot, cab Sauvignon, cab franc, and the rare Veneto variety recontino. 13% abv. A very pleasant discovery. — 2 years ago
Very nice - cherry and vanilla. Quite soft for a brunello, but well worth drinking. — 5 years ago
