Slight dark ruby red. Deep strawberry, raspberry and plum. Quite good aroma! Gentle taste. Minerals. domaine gerard julien et fils cote de nuits-villages 22 @1760, domaine, 241029 — 2 years ago
Showing almost full development, yet still hanging in there as the fruit is still energetic. — 3 years ago

With 90 minutes of Audoze style airing this is a spectacularly balanced, complex wine that drinks brilliantly right now. It continued to get better right through dinner showing multiple layers of complexity though if it was blind I might have had a hard time identifying it as an MSD — 7 years ago

Clos St Denis. Slow ox for 30 minutes. Excellent technique — a year ago
Very natural on the palate and the nose, this is delicious and refreshing! Fresh sea air, with hints of pear, green mango, orange rind, pineapple, passion fruit, on a pale, peach colored body. Taste of honeydew, pineapple and beautiful natural acidity, with citrus that lasts longgg into the finish. — 3 years ago
Young and spritzy. I have one more bottle I’ll be holding onto for a few years to see how this changes. Excellent food wine. — 6 years ago
Filigree, minerals and gorgeous nose. It’s delicacy and minerality were profound — 7 years ago
Super gold, residual gas, very honey, honeysuckle, white flowers. Peach, nectarine, apricot on the palate. Super fun and exciting wine. — 9 years ago
One of the best red burgundies I’ve ever had. Glowing ruby. The nose is classic red cherry and smoke/spice from the oak. Med body, med tannin, high acid. The purest of red fruit, savoury meatiness, forest floor flavours all held together by a shroud of fine tannins and a strong spine of acid. Incredible structure. Seamless. Better in 5-10 years. — 2 years ago

Golden wine, slight evidence of gas. Lees on the nose, pear, Asian pear, honey, citrus. On the palate, bruised apple, bitter melon, pear, orange peel, citrus fruit, very nice body. Acidity med +, alcohol is low. Juicy fun wine! Got my somm study cards in the background 😂 — 9 years ago

Awesome stuff. Oxidative notes, stone fruit skins, on first contact. Basically some kind of fruity bitterness/nuttiness to start. Backed by tropical notes of pineapple and good citrus! Fun amount of acid it give it energy!! Just a really good drink. — 3 months ago
