2021 noice! Eminently drinkable. Oak light, melon notes. Hints (only) of old style buttery wooded Aus chardy’s — 4 years ago
Complexity of dark fruit along with red currant berries and underneath side of tobacco leaf herb-leaf and cigar all together balances and deep on palate with yet soft structure at finishings 🤵🏼
Aromatic velvet and floral of rose garden 🕊 — 6 years ago
Smooth, slightly sweet start. Green/spicy end notes, a bit stronger than I'd prefer, but good for smaller sips — 8 years ago
Wellll this is my second favorite of the Champagnes I just got schooled in as part of the effervescence LA event I’m lucky enough to be attending for @Delectable Wine ! It is also Geoff Kruth’s first pick. What can I say... it is classic. Elegant. Toast and almost caramel on the nose. It reminds me of a toasty communion bread dipped in perfect church grape juice and I know that sounds basic but this is like...magical communion. I’d commune with it all day. — 8 years ago

If anyone wants a perfect example of a Cali merlot, give them this. Big blue fruit with some pine and cedar. It’s not subtle, but it’s good. If you’re a Merlot lover, get this. — 4 years ago

The Barnetts are first class people, and operate a first class winery. If you're in Napa you owe it to yourself to make the trek up to take in their spectacular views and fantastic wines!
This is the best example of the Sangiacomo Chardonnay I've had to date. Baked pears, apricots, and butterscotch leap from the Glass without any coaxing. The palate follows through with similar intensity as well.
An abv listed at 14.7% is very well concealed. Oak, fruit, and acidity are all in harmony. Thank you David Tate for making the type of chardonnay I've been craving lately. — 8 years ago

PnP. Drinking young. Very dark, thick red color. Medicinal tones, cedar, and dark cherries on the nose with some oak. Same on the palate. Seems higher than the 14.4 OH. Next to zero finish which is disappointing. Average Napa Cab right now and seems way overpriced at $60+. — 3 years ago
