Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The BdB d’Aÿ GC pours a straw color with medium viscosity and a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with ripe orchard fruits and autolytic notes: apple, peach, lemon curd, lightly toasted brioche, nuts and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, creamy and toasty. Rich and decadent. Drink now. Disgorged March 2022. — 10 months ago
Good Baron Gaston Legrand Bas Armagnac Folle Blanche 95 @14146, Pieroth, 251117 — 2 months ago
wonderfully ripe, musky aromas, liquefied French-toast and butter; shows the sorrel-y dryness with the pointed chalky flower, with a brown-butter smile of the Meunier. Yellow orchard fruit, warm biscuits, hazelnuts and peach. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, it's deep and layered, with a sweet core of fruit and an ultra-refined mousse. — 7 months ago

Nice, though not really especially recognizable as Musar. Perhaps that will come with some more age, this was an early try. Would have guessed Nebbiolo blind. On day 2 the more intense herbal / spice / tannic structure comes through more which points in a different direction. Good pairing with a chicken, caramelized onion, and apricot “tachin” on New Year’s Eve. — a day ago
