Delicious and full bodied. Black cherries, black currants, dark chocolate and hints of vanilla all stand out to me. — 2 months ago
Intense blackberries. Rich , hint of spice . Nice — 4 years ago
Looking at the reviews I was surprised so low for an $8 wine. I am enjoying this. Tastes more sweet than tart. Not able to identify fruit but I guess more like a ripe tropical fruit. — 5 years ago
Costco, strong body. — 3 months ago
Two words come to mind when tasting this standout of a bottle: “apricots” and “finish.” Tasting notes may be subjective, to say the least, but this deep red beauty brings to mind the brighter stonefuits like apricots and nectarines. Don’t let the full body and enticing nose fool you, this wine has a bit of punchiness to it, and trust me you’re gonna love it. The longer finish you’ll find with Freakshow is exactly as desired, this wine gently sticks square on the top of the tongue. To whom would I recommend Freakshow’s Cabernet of damn near any vintage? Well, frankly, everyone. But if you’re looking to impress that date and the only thing you know about their wine preference is simply the word “red,” then do both of you a favor and grab this bottle. — 3 years ago
Virtual Zoom tasting with Hardy Wallace...the wine is remarkably restrained... light in color, impeccable in the acid undertone, supporting the ripe mystery berry essence that floats weightlessly over the glass. Complex, complete, compelling for a wine this young. — 5 years ago
