Dry with pronounces tannins. Two hours after decanting, it emergences much smoother and rather nice to drink now. Not quite the standard Fontodi CC, but a very enjoyable wine on its own. — 4 years ago
This is a really nice pop and pour Chianti Classico. Elegant nose, packed with layers of flavors of earth, fruit and spice and nice balance of juicy acidity and a moderate grip of tannins that linger on the front of the tongue for quite a while. — 2 days ago

Great pairing with Sunday gravy, candlelight and Dino Crocetti. We’ll put this one into the regular winter rotation. Salud! — 4 years ago

2021 Sauvignon blanc from Tuscany. Categorized as a lowly IGT wine. You don’t think of Italy when you think Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical fruit on the nose — 9 months ago

Should have decanted and filtered on the pour. It was a different wine in the last half due to the sediment. Still very enjoyable and a solid wine from a great vintage. Smooth and balanced good harmony of fruit with earthiness. — 3 days ago
