Bright light medium ruby . Quite aromatic with strawberry , rose , spicy red cherry and raspberry on the nose . On the palate quite fresh and fruit driven , with those strawberry and red cherry notes , balanced acidity and quite light ripe tannins, balanced alcohol . Ok length. For early consumption but well made with good freshness and a lively fruit and floral personality. Drink now and over the next couple of years. — 20 days ago

Actually a blend of Cab Sauv, Castelão, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet. This wine is a very dark purple, almost inky. The nose is also dark, showing blackberry notes alongside savory tobacco, spice and earth, all in a very smokey framework. The palate of this interesting blend is nearly stunning. Tannins have a good grip, but the blue fruit flavors are amazing and the acidity leaves the sipper salivating. It seems bizarre to me that this wine cost less than $10. It drinks like it should cost much more.

Nose has that classic confectionary Sangiovese fruit. Cherry flower, cherry spice, herbs and lovely earthy aromas. Great mint as well. Also some Valhrona chocolate. Palate is rich and linear with lovely freshness, acids and depth. A very clean wine and superb length. Great delineation, purity and balance. Good tannic structure for short term aging.
