Our first wine from Good Harbor and a nice surprise. Tart up front and sweetness at the end - but neither too sweet or too tart. Nice balance. — 3 years ago
Scent of strawberry..nice balance. Not overly dry, would pair nice with food but can stand alone. I'm a generally a fan of Bowers Harbor. — 5 years ago
Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Bright Ruby, some purple edges, with aromas of ripe berries and baking spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and black cherry with herb, cedar and cinnamon. Smooth fine tannins, medium+ finish with lively acidity, great structure, ending with fruit and cedar spice. A Fav! — a year ago
Coffee, vanilla, plums, raisins on the nose. Light to medium fruit with hints of coffee, caramel, toasted oak, and a hint of tannins. This has a nice balance of fruit, spice and tannins, but is a little light for my taste. This bottle is quite enjoyable, but Hartford has others that are better. — 4 years ago
Fruity light Nebbiolo (relative to Barolo) - a descriptor I haven’t written before...lots of fun this. — 5 years ago
Tried a new batch. Roederer Estate sparkling wines are crisp & fresh reflecting the cool, fog-shrouded Anderson Valley, home to estate's 600 acres of vineyards. Blend of 60% Pinot Noir & 40% Chardonnay. Light salmon color, good flow of bubbles, firm mousse, aromas of berry fruits and biscuit notes. On the palate flavors of strawberry, ripe apple and peach with a dash of pepper spice. Long finish, lively acidity ending a tad creamy with toasty yeasty tones. Very Nice! — 3 years ago
