Very berry forward. Darker notes blossom quickly. Label suggested toasted vanilla, which I can see. But prior to reading, I tasted chocolate and dried leather. Medium to heavy tannins evaporated quickly. 20 minutes in a decanter, and it's good to go. Enjoyable to the last. — 9 years ago
Rich and chewy. A definite food wine. Heavy on the tannins, requiring 45 minutes in a decanter. Excellent after-notes evaporating off the tongue: crushed rose petals and velvet. Not one I would drink on its own, but with pasta and red sauce, it's a winner. — 9 years ago
