Cherry, dried fig, current, blackberry jam and baking spice. Full-bodied and soft tannins. — 3 months ago
I think it’s a really good Chianti. Smooth. Ends nicely. Enjoyed with a piedmont eggplant/tomato/ pesto and ricotta. Even better finished with a very ripe grapefruit. Really great. 25$ Worth it for a great Saturday night dinner after yelling at your kids all day. — 5 months ago
Not a typical Chianti IMO and not sure if it was doing a blind tastes test I would ever guess Chianti. That being said it’s a super drinkable wine that like most wines, gets better as it sits. Enjoyable at the first sip and even more so at the last! This might be a good introduction to Chianti for first-timers. — 10 days ago

Il Ducale 2019, red and robust with steak. The label says it is a blend, but of what varieties it does not say. It does say, en français, “moderne, intense, et fruité; une vin de caractère”. We agree. — 6 months ago
This wine is colored dark purple, almost inky. The nose is wonderful, with an earthiness leading the way for plum, cherry and tar. The palate is loaded with dark fruit, earth and black pepper. The tannins are fairly smooth, but they work well against a Bolognese sauce. There is a nice acidity and a wonderful herbal finish. — 3 months ago
Very nice white wine. Easy drinking. Slightly acidic with good balance. $ 25.00 — 4 months ago
