Feudo Pignatone Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese

This was an amazingly enjoyable wine for being so young. Somewhat pale red in color, the palate was full of red fruit, spices, slate, tar, and volcanic ash. My first exposure to this varietal was pleasant indeed.
