So three bottles in the pic, but this is my favorite Barolo producer at the moment. All reasonably priced...His estate Barolo is not over extracted and super tannic, but supple, elegant, feminine. Moderate oak allows fruit expression-no new oak is used in his wines. Crazy complex. Blackberries layered under stone and dirt. The Langhe Nebbiolo is a steal and almost as elegant. The Dolcetto and Barbera express more fruit and less complexity but are still lovely. — 12 years ago
